Kyle Chapman is co-founder and Managing Director of Forsyth Capital Investors, a St. Louis based investment firm focused on buying, building and holding companies in the capital equipment/ component space and insurances services sector. In addition to this role, Chapman serves as Chairman and CEO of Baldwin Technology, Inc., a global manufacturer of process automation equipment and related consumables for the printing, packaging, textile and corrugated board markets. Prior to founding Forsyth Capital Investors, Chapman was Director of Business Development for Swett & Crawford, a private equity owned property and casualty wholesale insurance intermediary. While at Swett & Crawford, Chapman led the acquisition effort and assisted on operational and strategic initiatives. Before his tenure with Swett & Crawford, Chapman was with Banc of America Capital Investors (now Ridgemont Equity Partners), a Charlotte, N.C.-based private equity fund with more than $2.0 billion under management, completing transactions in a number of industries and specific focus on financial services, business services and manufacturing.
Chapman graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia, where he received a BS in Commerce with a focus in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce.
