Adam Croft

Corporate Finance Manager

Adam has a track record acting as lead advisor for the shareholders and management teams of SMEs for assessing their options in relation to exit strategy. Having successfully concluded in excess of 100 company disposals across a wide variety of sectors, Adam is experienced in assessing the value drivers of individual companies and is able to provide a realistic and sensible market valuation, working with clients to then design and deliver an exit strategy that maximizes value.

During his career, Adam has developed a particular understanding of the business services & support and healthcare markets—industries where valuation is not underpinned by significant tangible assets or fixed revenue contracts, but instead where value is intrinsically linked to people and ad hoc clients. Adam can expertly advise shareholders on the level of preparation which is required prior to commencing a sales mandate to ensure the business is presented in the best possible light and to enhance probability of a successful sale; how to correctly assess and identify the profiles of potential purchasers and how best to present the sales memorandum to each in order to highlight synergies, growth potential and ultimately enhance value perception; and how to run a managed process to maximize competitive tension in order for them be able to negotiate and conclude deals which meet shareholder expectations.
