Chris Stavrou is a commercial development professional with a diverse background ranging from consulting to alternative investments and sponsored acquisitions funding. His responsibilities include commercial strategic planning, revenue management process improvement, and contract due diligence of strategic acquisition targets.
Chris underwrote cash-flow based financing products for middle-market private equity sponsors during his stint in leveraged finance. His transaction experience included leveraged buyouts, recaps, add-ons, and growth capital transactions. Working for a smaller firm, he participated in all funding lifecycle stages, including origination, management interviews, due diligence, legal review, closing, and ongoing portfolio management.
During his tenure at a large hedge fund, he provided analytical support for the portfolio finance desk. He modeled and developed reporting on liquidity, working capital, interest rate exposure, and market intelligence metrics during his time there.
Chris' experience also includes implementing and managing pricing and risk management strategies for credit card portfolios totaling over $50+ billion in receivables at a large bank and business process improvement and data analytics consulting for a prominent accounting firm.
Chris received his MBA from DePaul University, focusing on Finance and SEV (Strategy, Execution, and Valuation). He also holds an MS in Computer Science from DePaul and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
