Darren is President of Draw Consulting Ltd., an advisory services firm helping private companies enhance enterprise value through governance, strategy, operational efficiency and growth. He is a proven executive with 17 years of experience as CEO of mid-sized companies. He has enjoyed a diverse career spanning a variety of industries including upstream/downstream oil & gas, industrial chemicals, specialty metals, manufacturing, distribution and construction. He has experience with publicly traded, family-owned and private equity-backed enterprises, and has participated in numerous acquisitions both as buyer and seller. Darren has been doing business internationally for over 22 years throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe. He is an active corporate director and chair, and he facilitates board governance and expansion strategies programs at the University of Alberta.He is passionate about teamwork, culture, entrepreneurialism, and process and change management.
Mary is a full-time Director and Chair, serving on both advisory and fiduciary boards. She is an executive member of the Edmonton chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Mary has made a long-term commitment to Habitat for Humanity serving as Chair for both Edmonton and Canada, and now is a Director of Habitat for Humanity International. Mary has executive-level experience in both the public and private sectors. She was a CEO of three different privately owned companies and a deputy minister in two provinces. Her industry experience includes real estate, insurance, IT and utilities. She is experienced in implementing structural and cultural change in organizations.
