Clinton is the founder of The Exit Firm, a UK M&A consultancy that advises business owners on their exit options and connects them with the right professional expertise to help them achieve their exit goals.
Prior to starting this consultancy, Clinton’s entrepreneurial career spanned over three decades and included the building, buying and selling of over two dozen businesses ranging from a primary school to a finance business followed by a number of technology businesses.
Clinton’s expertise in tech acquisitions led to various collaborative projects over the years where he assisted several business owners with M&A transactions. Among others these involved software businesses, online publishing businesses and the world’s largest Joomla properties. Recognising that he had a keen interest in, and aptitude for, advising on business sales Clinton divested himself of all his equity interests to focus on building his current consultancy. He also built and maintains the UK’s largest database and knowledge base of M&A professionals – from their sector specialisations to their fee structures to their cross border expertise which database he uses to advises business owners on the broker / corporate finance firm best suited to their specific business.
Now based in the UK, Clinton originally studied accountancy in India as an undergraduate and attended Virginia Tech in the US of A for an MBA in finance.
